Not really. A woman is seen crossing a rickety handmade bridge during monsoon at Nadanalli Village off Pushapagiri Hills in Somwarpet. Below the bridge flows a furious river. This village has been devoid of basic infrastructure from time immemorial. A textbook example of India shining, no? (Pic: Shakthi)

and to come to think of it - ONE contested [MP] from that area. He made great speech as to how he is close to coorg and he will work for the upliftment of coorg etc .
Al in all , I dont seem to know a lot about CNC - but I see a reason to be part of them. At least they are fighting for us. I would invite or even request Cari to open a blog/discussion about CNC - I need to know more about them. I encourage readers to point their opinion about CNC
cpn
I am not a great fan of CNC – because of their inconsistency – and a lot many have rejected them. They were really doing well during KRMM days, and all of a sudden, their direction changed. Now it is the boss and his team of a dozen guys. Anyways, a CNC post would be interesting.
I feel that an healthy debate brings out the best for Kodagu.
CPN / Cariz, Well Iam a gowda from Kodagu and believe that I am a very part of Kodagu like many other Gowdas back home.I studied in Cauvery College,Gonikoppal(which is a cultural heartland of Kodavas). And I have lotsa ( Very Good & True)Kodava friends.
I used to attend SO-CALLED-HISTORICAL rallies of KRMM during college days, not because of my Kodava friends, but beacuse of my(earlier) belief in thier ideology.I really thought only sollution for Kodagu's delevopment was statehood /separation.As like others i lost interest when they started deviating thier focus, inconsistency in thier rallies etc and when i learnt the loop holes in the ideology and hard truths of history..
Now I feel, separation is not the sollution. If it is the sollution, every region would be a state and there will be no hanging bridge anywhere. The root cause is politics and people's representatives and how do we engage them in public service.I dont believe in CNC ideologies anymore, they are there from last 15 -20 years, thier KRMM year was thier peakest and now its with handfull of supporters or rather sympathisers...
Cariz,
Really appreciate U and ur team of friends who come up with some good pics ( both in above case & Mahindra rally)
Keep it going..
Cheers/ Naveen
I think we are suppose to write the comment on the Brigge, not on CNC.
Guys talk to the point.
Yes. Cariz, Open up a blog post for CNC. We will talk to the point.
Anonymous, I think the Bridge, Development in Kodagu, CNC cause, Inability of people's representatives in solving problem like 'Bridge', Corruption and we arguing about whether we talking to the point or not,all of these are interrelated.
Some truths are hard to digest :-)
