Yes - this exactly I think too. Other group [ political ] did they celebrate or even brought it to anyones notice. I am more leaning towards CNC .

I have few HUMBLE doubts abour ur last entry here.considering that you have strong leaning towards CNC, expect you to reply to this as a CNC rep.

Once you retain or may be once you gain Kodag (Kodagu),what is your plan of action or your views on below points??

1)For other fellow indians who are non kodavas who wants to settle in Kodagu??

2)For those Non Kodavas( Malayalis, Gowdas, Bearys,Brahmins,Chettiayars etc) who are already there in Kodagu;Rich or poor, Planter or labourer??

3)For those non kodavas who wants to have a business set up in kodagu, it could be a resort, college,residential school,indusrty or factory etc?

4) Your reaction or view points towards the rituals,languages, practices of other communities in Kodagu ( which are unique in its own sense and 'Endangered'??).

5)Lets consider that the movemnet is for a state .. then what is your justification for not including wyanad,hunsur,periyapatna,sullia & puthur in to the movement which were part of Kodagu in the past?

Please take your time,read the doubts very carefully and answer the above questions.We would like to know your ( CNC) view point and based on that we will decide whether we support CNC or not.Is'nt it fair enough & very democratic query.

The above are the HONEST QUESTIONS and are not strategically or sarcastically designed. we just wanted to know a equally non diplomatic,straight answer.

Mate first and foremost thank you for your polit approch this time each and every persons has the rigt to think in diffrent perspective,but i would suggest you to log cnc website for further details,i also need to tell you i like the idilogy of CNC, "Not now" but when C.N.C started as L.I.W.A.K 18 years back,but definately not a rep at this stage of C.N.C let me make it clear,if you are talking about other communities we do respect there intgrity not at our own cost,not at the cost of makeing ourself extent,does other communities dont have there own land or are they nomadic people,as long as there roots are not in kodag, we are at the moment fighting for our rights, if somebody wants to do business they are welcome but purchasing larg areas of Native land is not welcome, for all your questions,once kodava land has happened demarking of boundries is very importent as to what portion of the land can be used for commercial purpose and what can be considered as a native land the best practices of russia,america newzealand and australia along with fiji, canada can be used to preserve the native land and culture, by demarking it accordingly,certain stipulation and laws need to made with regard to accomodating ethnic communities and also other tribes in kodag under the council,but will be under th preview of codava land,i do have few suggestions this is my personal opinion, which can be looked upon at the later stages,but i am agaist commercialisiation of the place but not against development through council,For example:Each village needs a Mini Hospital,Postoffice,Police station(Control under the state Government/But monitored through the council) and clubs for recration,limitations with regard to resorts after demarking the land insted of resorts mushrooming in kodag, each village, will be licenced to have one/two resorts of which a quota will be given for the kodava(ex:one for an outsider and one for a kodava or jointly with a kodava) or which ever community have been in that village where kodavas mand ainmana/Balyamana,kimada are not present in that village immaterial of kodavas in that village.Areas need to be demarked for residential Purpose,schools,collages based on inhabitants in that village.

Rituals,Language and Practices of other communities will be respected,and protected under the cuncil,along with kodava other commuties inhabiting diffrent areas in kodag will be given priorty by the council but the council will not directly involve but all support will be given for there development as well as long as they have made kodag there home,through there representatives.
Fellow Indians are welcome to buy houses and land in kodag to stay but not native land(Demarked)

State Moment is dead in kodag now,so no questions about it please, but to mention,i need to ask will Belgaum be given to maharastra now by kannada people or will kasargod be given to karnatake by malayali speaking people.hence the demand by council is to demark the boundries.No further questions please.

This is my personal view mate,no questions further,if you can join C.N.C thats great,we can make Codag a better place for kodavas and others.

TK and hidalgo - I am really impressed with your knowledge. If the locals [ include all of us ] fight - then easy entry to the reddys to set up land and be ruthless about people / environment.
Yes - the next time I am around Madikeri I would love to meet up with CNC.
